The wedding of Megan and Emile

Join us for our wedding in Columbus, Indiana. We are celebrating the joining of two families together by sharing a meal, drinks and lots of dancing!
This location is special to us because it's near our favorite state park, where have we hiked many times. It shares our love for the woods and outdoors.

Our Story

We "met" on tinder in the summer of 2018. Emile was at a sprint car race in Bloomington, Indiana. Megan lived a few miles away from the Bloomington Speedway. We started talking and Emile asked Megan to meet for dinner at The Red Crayfish ( Red Lobster for those in the know). Megan was pretty sure he was an internet scammer and probably fake so she waited but kept chatting with him, just in case. Then they both decided it was time to meet and went to dinner at Grazie (now Che Bello). That was October 7th, 2018. Emile picked Megan up from her apartment and they drove to dinner together. The rest is a story still being written!

Emile planned a morning hike in Brown County State Park for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Megan, as usual, packed their weekend full of events, like the Indiana University vs. Purdue football game Saturday afternoon. Emile made sure to pick a specific hike with their pup, August and Megan's mom, Carmen and her dog Mish. Early Saturday morning we headed to the woods. We set off for Ogle Lake in Brown County State Park. After making the hike around the lake Emile paused at the overlook and proposed.
